Not to be negative, BUT I wouldn't pay to hear guys who can't deliver punch lines effectively. Plus, I find hockey dressing room stories are about getting drunk, hooking up with women, or machismo, and it gets stale pretty quick.

Don’t know about the other two, but I’ve spent some nights around Macoun and he is hilarious. Just because they were once hockey players doesn’t mean they can’t have a decent set, particularly if they’re just sharing stories like they have for years.
Sitting in dressing rooms with uncensored NHL alumni probably includes some of my hardest laughing moments.

Agreed, I've hung out with a few players over time and the stories they have are quite entertaining, but this is supporting a good cause!

I was never a Leafs fan, but back when I didn't actively loathe them, Jamie Macoun was by far my favourite Leaf.

Do you honestly believe a man that is employed by the Calgary Flames, with player development staff in the role of player assistance no less, is going to be not PC enough or funny enough while co-hosting a charity fund raising evening?
I appreciate this thread as I bought my tickets as soon as I read it. A great cause and two great Flame alumni members. Thanks for the heads up Beast!

No worries, I work there for fun! Just thought I post a heads up here before they do their media release. If I get any inside info on who else is showing up, I'll share!
Say Hello, if you come I'll be the guy checking people for Oilers tattoo's at the door!
