After their latest battle, I got the impression that Negan now thinks of Rick as this loose cannon psychopath. At one point he said to Rick "you're crazy, you're gonna kill us both", or something to that effect. He might actually be somewhat afraid of Rick at this point, so I highly doubt he'd ever align with him.
My guess is he partners up with Jadis to find a way to take down Rick and Hilltop.
He pretty much is at this point. Negan wants to maintain order, and Rick wants to tear it all down. But more than anything, Rick wants to murder Negan for pure revenge purposes.
Honestly, Negan seems more balanced than Rick does at this point in the narrative. It's a good thing too, because it allows you to empathize somewhat with Negan, but not too much because you also know how much he uses people over the course of his methods, which Rick eloquently pointed out.
That was one of the best scenes in the series over the last few years. Really well done, and you don't immediately side with one person over the other.

I really liked Georgie. It's been a while since they've introduced a character I actually want to learn more about. The show has some a good job of purging bad characters, although that involved giving many unwanted screen time.
I also like Jadis a lot more as a normal talking rogue. The show is definitely moving in a positive direction
Just need to get rid of Tara.

The Walking Dead TV show only thread- Part II ***See spoiler rules in first post***
Wasn’t really sure what was going on with Morgan there... and I thought Tara got injured by one of those zombie blood weapons? Is she on the chopping block now?

Yea, I think so. Looked like she got hit in the back with an arrow.

On The Talking Dead they were saying we don't know whether she's infected or not since it was Dwight's arrow who shot her which might not have had infected blood on it.
I'm assuming the zombie blood attack probably cut the Hilltop forces by about half. They're gonna have to go look for a new community now to help them win the war. Maybe they can finally convince those stubborn wimps at Oceanside to join the fight.

I think D's arrow was clean. That will be his way back into the group. He can say, look everyone else used dirty weapons, I didn't and shooting Tara actually saved her from Simon's dirty weapon.

With TWD we can't really know.
They like to create more Saviors every few episodes out of thin air. They'll probably do the same for the HT when the next battle comes around.
Numbers don't really diminish unless recognizable characters bite the bullet. Even then they fill that void with some other community member that has apparently been there all along but we just haven't seen that suddenly steps into the forefront.

I'd like to know why he didn't just shoot Simon?
