I definitely think that Grand Slams are the most important aspect in terms of determining the GOAT but I don't think it's the only thing we should consider. Weeks at #1 , Masters 1000 titles, Year End #1 , Olympic Gold's, total titles and H2H should all be considered.
I also certainly don't dismiss Federer as never being able to win another Slam. He had match points in Wimbledon and had a strong AO tournament. I think he is top 5 contender for AO, Wimbledon and the French and top 10 contender for the US Open. I made the mistake once in 2017 thinking Federer was done wining Slams I won't be burned again.
I also think Slams will be harder to win in 2021 with a good group of young players like Thiem, Tsitsipas, Shapo and Zverev but I still see the Big 3 winning at least 3 Slams next year.

If we consider this the greatest era in men's history, then the biggest metric should be weeks at #1. There's too much randomness and luck involved in winning any tournament, including majors. But because of the structure of how the rankings work, that you have to defend points, it is more about consistency than anything. I think for me I would weight it something like weeks at #1 like 30%, majors 25%, H2H 20%, quality of major wins 15% and various at 10%,

Shapo is about 300 points behind Rublev for the final spot in the Tour Finals. Rafa hasn't committed to it yet so that could be another spot, it would be huge if he was able to qualify.

Milos wins the first set in a tie-breaker over JJ Wolf. The mullet from Cincinnati played very well in that opening set.

Milos closes out JJ Wolf 7-6(5) 6-1. Played much better in the second set and Wolf's level dropped quite a bit. Later today Vasek takes on Rublev.

Well, Andy Murray lost to Fernando Verdasco earlier today at the ATP 250 event in Cologne, Germany. He's just not the same player anymore which is tough to watch.

Shapo victorious again today taking out Ilya Ivaska in straight sets 6-1 6-4. A great matchup on Friday as Denis faces Stan the Man in St. Petersburg.

Absolutely insane situation going on with Sam Querrey right now. He has apparently snuck out of Russia on a private plane after being disqualified due to a positive Covid test and being placed in quarantine by officials.
https://www.theguardian.com/sport/20...-st-petersburg
This could result in a hefty fine and a 3 year ban from the tour, which under these circumstances seems absolutely fair. What a completely selfish and inexcusable action for someone to take when so many have gone to great lengths to even hold these tournaments in the current climate. Idiotic actions like these are exactly what leads to events/tours being shut down.
