Tough series regardless of injuries. It was always going to be a grind. Still thankful to have hockey back.

What a horrible game. I hope this huge missed opportunity doesn't come back to bite them in the ass.

Exactly. Exactly the result I expected. Right down to the score.

They were a step behind the play all afternoon. Couldn't make the easy plays, and lost way too many puck battles. The game still could have gone either way, but it felt like they just weren't sharp and Winnipeg wanted it more.

One of the laziest efforts I've ever seen in a game. Break out the prune juice, they skated like they need some.

Undisciplined in the third.
Brutal powerplay.
Not good enough.
Play like Game 1 in Game 3 please.

Familiar Flame out. Mangiapanes penalty was especially egregious, Bennetts was chintzy AF.
I still start Talbot for game 3. He was really good today.
I'm 100 percent sold that the Flames will not win a cup with Gaudreau as the primary driver of their offense. In the playoffs, size matters.

That is the most pissed off I have been after a hockey game in an awful long time.
We were unable to beat the bloody Jets with no Sheifele or Laine. It's not like hellebuyck played lights out. We didn't make him. Shots for both sides right about even for Christ sake!
Between the awful officiating, stupid deserved penalties and the lack of give a &^%% from the Flames, that was really frustrating to watch.

Simply pathetic...but expected
This team always chokes
Winnipeg missing their top two players and still can’t beat them
Flames will lose the next two and Ward and Tre fired

Can we stay out of the box? Giving the Jets 7 PP/game isn't helping at all. Just frustrating to watch

I was just coming in to say this. NHL refs are so gullible.

That was easily the most "Flames" Flames game I have seen in a long time.
At least they get right back at it tomorrow, which should give us a great idea at what we can expect from the Flames moving forward.

If there was a game this season they should’ve won it was that one. Disappointed but didn’t expect them to go 19-0

A big weakness for the Flames is the inability of the top line players to produce 5-on-5. That's going to be their undoing if they don't fix that even with a depleted Jets lineup. Can't say I'm expecting that to be the case.
Be nice for Gaudreau, Monahan, and Tkachuk to do something the next few games without having to be on the PP, but not holding my breath.

Bennett continues to be a complete idiot with his penalties. I cannot wait until he is off this team. Oh well, if they continue to lose, they can completely blow up the core.

People can blame the refs if they wish. Fact is...that was an embarrassing effort and performance by the Flames.
Top guys?

Just the one game of the Flames playing with grit and physicality. It was nice while it lasted. Its annoying when one of the more gritty players on the team is also a penalty machine such as Bennet is.

Terrible power play. Too many risky passes resulting in chances the other way. Bad penalties.
This was a winnable one but they shot themselves in the foot today with sloppy play. Luckily they can get back at it right away tomorrow.

Lots of comments about Chucky and while I agree he wasn’t great, where in the hell was our top line? Completely invisible when not giving the puck away.
