I guess the one who saved them melted, so she would think it's a different one? Is it a different one? I guess I'll have to see the movie.
Do we know that Arnie is actually playing a terminator in this one though? Could he be the human that the T100 was based on perhaps? If so, maybe it's his involvement with Skynet that has Sarah upset about him.

I think Cameron or someone on a panel said he was a different model of the T-800 that would “surprise” people and his name is Carl.

Big lol if he was designed as like a cyborg assistant and whatever happens in this movie is actually what makes Skynet realise he has military applications.

This movie looks incredible. If it becomes a big hit, I wonder if Warner Bros might reboot the entire DCEU and build it around this film, connecting it with the upcoming Batman reboot with Robert Pattinson. I certainly wouldn't be opposed to that idea, as the current DCEU is an absolute mess.

It’s hard to rebuild an entire franchise with any legitimately good actors involved except as a one-off kind of thing. I think there is zero chance that Joaquin Phoenix would reprise this role.

I can't see the studio building around an R rated franchise with this extreme of a tone. They wouldn't be able to bring in kids and sell toys.

I'd be pretty happy if they just stuck with a subline of more mature focused one off films.

DCEU is not going anywhere. The plan is to have an off shoot brand called DC Black where they do one off projects that are more high risk to coexist with the DCEU films. Give us the best of both worlds.

I'm not sure how you can consider the current DCEU the best of any world

But with Linda Hamilton and especially Arnie back it adds a certain credibility that I might have to see this one.

Arnie is pure cheese with a hint of awfulness, but god damn do I love him in that role.
they had me as soon as Linda Hamilton was announced in the movie.
