Interested to see where Conte goes now.

Italian National team already hired Mancini or else that would have been awesome. PSG already hired Tuchel. Madrid hired their coach replacement for Zidane already. Napoli already has Ancelotti to replace Sarri.

Right. It seems like a bit of a screw-job?

They held onto him until all potential positions were filled and then fired him. What the hell is going on over at Chelsea?

I thought the Italian National team was stupid to hire Mancini at the time. Writing was on the wall with Conte and with them not qualifying they had until August/September to hire their new coach prior to UEFA League or whatever it's called now starting.

Could have waited it out and got the better coach to come back.

Shaqiri to Liverpool is done. For only £13 million, that is a quality depth signing.

Thats a good bit of business I think.

NOW BUY A GODDAMNED GOALTENDER!!!!

I apologize. The goaltending situation at Liverpool is frustrating.

Weird summer so far, I keep checking for PL transfer updates and it seems like West Ham of all clubs is buying everybody they can? Every time I check there's West Ham with another huge fee transfer or signing. They've spent something like 110 million euros and added guys like Wilshere (reportedly for 100k a week) and Fredericks to their wage bill without really selling anybody of note.

I can't say the names they brought in are blowing me away but that bigger stadium must be really paying dividends economically for them to have so much money to burn through!

I'm interested to see some of the bigger clubs get going now and who will come in, in particular if Bale comes back and the Man United rumors are true.

Can't go wrong at that price. He'll get plenty of minutes too with the lack of attacking depth at the club. Hopefully Fekir still gets done as well.

Shaqiri has the football IQ of a potato, but for that money it's a solid piece of business for a backup.

Agreed, I like Shaqiri and at that price you really cant go wrong.

I also do still want Fekir, but I'm hesitant because I cant remember the last time a deal fell through because of a Medical, that worries me.

Also a goalkeeper. Buy someone. Anyone. If this team lines up in front of Karius next season I'll be super choked.

Keeper is a tricky one. There isn't a long list of keepers out there that provide a clear upgrade, and not many on that list are attainable. Alisson seemed like our top choice according to the rumours, but he looks to be Madrid bound. I'm not sure who else is out there that we could get.

Karius was very solid after taking over the number one job. If it wasn't for his CL disaster I'd be fine with him being our starter again. The problem is I have no idea how he'll bounce back from that.

This is the thing, they have to do something, I dont think the team can keep going back to the Karius/Mignolet well.

Look at last season, the purchase of VVD turned Lovren into a whole different defender, but Karius really was the weakest link, what does it say to guys up front scoring our way out of trouble everytime we're behind because of a goalkeeping howler?

They have to shore it up in net, they had to do it 3 years ago.

Well if Alisson is bound for Madrid, Liverpool should target Navas as a nice stopgap. He's definitely a quality keeper, certainly a nice upgrade over Karius.

What's with all the you can't really go wrong at that price statements?

You can go wrong if he's a bust and causes vital points to be lost.

If Liverpool want to be serious contenders then they might want to consider signings that will take them over the top as opposed to.... meh, he's a good price dime a dozen players.

Looks like Courtois is saying the same things as Hazard.

Might be a bit of a top-end talent exodus at the Bridge.

So...if Courtois (World Cup Golden Glove winner) is available.....come on Klopp, get on that!

Could be a bit awkward to jettison Mignolet for Courtois, but thats not my job....

He’s either going to Real or staying. Allison or Courtois for those terrorists.

Who hurt you?

Although I dont disagree, granted I want one of them at Liverpool, I'd prefer Courtois but I cant even imagine what kind of ransom Chelsea would demand to sell within the PL.
