Who's on your NHL 09 roster?

What are your top lines? defensive pairs? whos scratched, dressed?

Once I started a dynasty I noticed that its going to be a little tricky rearranging the guys. so far iginla is amazing, absolute domination to anyone in hitting, shooting, puck possession. There are guys like Yelle, Nilson on the rosters as well, so do you play them or scratch them?

I will update with my personal decisions after a few hours of fielding tonight.

Happy Gaming, and it is an amazing feeling to play this in the off-season, it is the patch for the NHL i say.

Boring and basic. Nilson and Warrener were jettisoned to FA, Erickson is in the minors.

Bertuzzi plays on the top PP with Iggy and Langks. After 10 games he leads the team in goals scored, Iggy leads in points.

Where did you find Giordano in the game? I couldn't find him anywhere.

I think I might wait till the beginning of the actual season to start a dynasty... by that time they will have all the rosters properly updated. Well, that's what I am hoping for anyway.

Where did you get Mark Giordano, I was about to take the game back and return it, and say get me another copy because hes missing. I had to play Adam Pardy .

I think if you go to the Online section of the game it will prompt you to update your roster.

He was signed in July though, why the hell do I need to do a roster update to get Gio in the game, he should be there already. Last time NHL 08 would freeze everytime I did a roster update. I want gio, my defence is slow and in shambles in this game, stupid Aucoin and Sarich

Nothing special, but I was trying to get Iginla back on RW on the top line, so I had to do a little bit of line juggling.

I played 11 games into my bap mode and had 6 goals and 1 assist in QC and got traded to Anaheim along with another player for Rob Niedermayer I cursed at the TV for about 5 minutes after lol

I know, I totally destroyed the lineup, Samsonov/Carter feels wrong, but what the hell. 8 Million under the cap with some future stars I hope (Lisin, Hanzal, Keith (he's an 80)) No new backup for kipper, if he goes down, that will be it for us. Hope everyone else is having as much fun with this game as I am.

I'm still in QC and haven't really played outside that. The other Vandermeer is second on the team in scoring.

Tried PM'ing you earlier. Giordano is on one of the Russian squads, just go to player movement and swap him to the Flames. Can't remember which one, but it doesn't take long to find him.

Loving the Be a Pro. About 14 games into the season as a Sniper RW. AHL leading 22 goals, 5 assists. Also far ahead in turnovers at 93. Ohwell, lead the league in hits (73) and points (27). Love this. Got one going as a Goalie, once you get the hang of it it's really quite fun.

Can anyone tell me how much control I have over the rosters? Can I set up the rosters (exactly like the NHL) and play BAP or a Dynasty without worrying about players being traded all over the damn place?
