Default Youtube's not working for me

So like the title says, youtube's not working on my computer. (Except if there's a vid embedded here, for example, it works fine.) Let me explain with a series of screen caps.

(As I just discovered, it's also effecting my photobucket.)

I already had all of this installed before, I thought, but when my dad hooked up this printer, things have started to go wonky.

So, anyway, I start like this:

So I click on that and it takes me here:

So obviously I continue 'til this happens:

.......wtf...... this seems like a really simple and easy fix, but I don't know what to do

Maybe add adobe.com to your trusted sites. In IE under Internet Options, Security (I think)
In Firefox, Edit, Preferences, Security, Exceptions button at the top.

I have a macbook air, and in the last 2 months or so, youtube vids have stopped working correctly (either embedded or straight from the site). Usually they will buffer, then play about two seconds, then freeze. I installed the latest Flash player a while ago, with no results.

I was able to fix the 2 sec thing by upgrading Flash to the version 10 beta.

However, that then caused a bunch of other things dependent upon Flash to explode (Yahoo fantasy draft applet, Facebook, etc)

So I reverted back. As long as I let the page FULLY load, then the Youtube video works.

WindomURL, I tried and nothing. However, I discovered that everything flashplayer works perfectly fine in Firefox still, while IE is still not working.

Any more ideas as to why it's being psycho?

I had this problem too and found the fix for it. During one of the recent FF updates it didn't copy over the flash player DLL: WPSWF32.dll or NPSWF32.dll.

On a windows box (I don't know Mac):
- Go to C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash and find the DLL
- Copy it to C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\plugins
- Should be good to go, you may need to restart your browser.

I had to solve similar problem in my parents machine a week ago. Method I used was uninstalling the old flash player and installing FP manually.

Standalone installer can be found here. I guess it has something to do about vista and IE7. I use Opera so I have never any problems at all, not with life or anything. Even my car runs better since I use Opera.

No problem. And believe it or not, I found a cereal in my Cheerios that looked just like Opera's logo. This is a sign.
