Mine has shipped, will arrive Saturday via intelicom.
I would expect it tomorrow. Around 10ish that will change to out for delivery. That's what happened with my Horizon anyway same company with a branch in Calgary.
I can hardly tell a difference between versions of BOTW. I wouldn't be upset having to play it on the Wii U.
From what I've read, the difference comes more with stable framerates. The Switch version takes advantage of HBAO+ and better shadow modellers, and holds 60 FPS much better.
As a note, I snagged one off Amazon this morning. They still have Gray consoles left if anyone's looking...
Note I think it's only available for Prime Members:
Bestbuy.ca is putting up additional systems at 10AM it looks like.
And yeah, Amazon.ca has stock showing in-stock/out-stock - there also seems to be a special allocation coming into stock available only to Prime members..

Both versions of the game run at 30 fps which is probably why frame drops are so much more noticeable. From what I can tell, the Switch has some AA and also some additional effects like dust.
So it doesn't look like I'm getting my Switch today. Looking at my Amazon order it's still stuck on "Arriving 8 Mar - 10 Mar / Being shipped today" with no shipping notification.
Considering my friend was able to grab one this morning without preordering at all, I'm pretty disappointed.
Hmm, can't really justify getting the Switch right now, so I'll just play Zelda on the Wii U. That will probably change for me once the new Xenoblade game comes out for. But really, at least now I have a whoping 4 games for me Wii U lol.
London Drugs, you used to be cool. They had them for sale last night for store pickup (with different stock for each store), but from what I'm told those orders will have to wait to be fulfilled from a warehouse as whatever stock the stores had was sold in the morning to whoever walked in and asked for one. Anyone order one from London Drugs and get one?

Im in the same boat. I ordered from London Drugs for in store pick up. Called this morning about when I could come in and they told me I had to wait for the truck to deliver the stock, and they have no idea when its coming. Im not too happy about this right now either.
Between that and Best Buy seemingly giving all western Canada later shipments regardless of when one pre-ordered (I preordered right when it first came up and I still don't have any shipping information despite being charged, people that preordered a few days ago in eastern Canada have their consoles out for delivery today) and Amazon delivering later even though people were expecting release date delivery it hasn't been the smoothest release to say the least.

Seems the best way to play Zelda is undocked, there's frame rate drops in docked mode. Speculation that the performance increase in docked doesn't meet the increased demand of the resolution increase.
Frame rate discussion starts at about 7:20
