Those two losses to the twins really stings too. Should have swept them

See ya next year.
Still an outstanding season by the Jays....WAY over achieved expectations.

Everyone: "Wow, look at all the possibilities! A fun offensive team like the Jays who lead the MLB in home runs and clearly deserve to be in given their run differential! An upstart team like the Mariners who have no business gutting their way to 90+ wins and haven't been in the postseason for decades and finally might be back! What excitement!"
MLB: "LOL Nope Red Sox v. Yankees again."

I don't know if it's because of proximity to NY and they have an inferiority complex of what, but they are the worst!

Does anyone care about another Yanks vs. Sox series? The rivalry is tiring.

The MLB sure got what it wanted though. A Yanks vs Sox Wildcard. Gotta milk that cash cow for all it's worth.

The Jays season comes down to Bosox and Yankee 9th inning victories to eliminate them from the playoffs.
You literally couldn't write a worst case scenario for a Jays fan.
What did we do to deserve having it go down like this?
Unbelievable

My guess is the Nats come back with 1 run in the bottom of the inning, amplifying that error.

If, by series, you mean one game? Yes, it’s what all of baseball wanted outside of most of Canada.
