I just hope the shenanigans are kept to a minimum. Two points for the taking. They count just as much in October as they do in April.
I'm the opposite. I find NHL hockey has become very pedestrian and usually quite boring to sit through a full game. Give me a shenanigan filled game any day of the week.

This is all an invention and perpetuated by the media, but it's still fun.
How do you figure? I'd argue it's one of the most obvious personal rivalries in the NHL They've gone after each other basically every single game in some capacity.
Just imagine Bennett and Chucky on the same line coming in to pressure Doughty. Drew is so focussed on # 19, he doesn't notice Benny flying in to nail him. He won't know who to hate.

It's like a one-way rivalry though. You can tell Doughty really hates Tkachuk, but Tkachuk doesn't give a crap about Doughty

I am starting to think this whole thing is getting staged as it goes along. It’s almost too perfect to be naturally evolving like this. These two guys are probably texting each other what they’re going to say tomorrow and laughing their asses off.

Doughty must be one hell of an actor then because you can see his annoyance and whining increase game by game between these two.
Even in that case, Tkachuk comes out as a clear winner and Doughty comes out as a clear loser because even Kings fans just want him to shut up and stop being dominated by Chucky.
Yeah I know if a teenager elbowed me in the head I’d want to spend years sounding like a child to the media, embarrassing even my own fans, just for the luls with my new bud who has tried to run me every game thereafter.
That Drew Doughty, the NHL’s king of slapstick and an all-around great dude.
