Here we had an opportunity to have an intelligent conversation and discuss something that is quite important and that the majority of the world population have very little knowledge about because people such as yourself and your little friend there, dilute the conversation by being idiots rather than actually learning something. And sadly... the community for the most part sits around and thanks posts that are about as useful as fart jokes..

the benefit of this for me is identifying a couple of CP members that are simply here to stir the pot and bring absolutely nothing but childish antics to the equation.

So congrats! You've made the list of posters who provide nothing but immaturity by using so much intelligent thought in the above quoted post.
You posted a video by Jeffrey M. Smith and called him 'renowned.' You can't push him forward then claim you want an intelligent discussion. He's basically the Lawrence Solomon of agriculture and crop science.

You had me at compost tea, really. All the rage until it was quickly seen as completely impractical for anything large scale, and wasn't as good as actually knowing what you're putting into the ground. It was a feel good product for hobbyists, but completely unreliable at scale, and hasn't shown to be better than just leaving your crop waste out on the field and letting it decompose there. you can buy a wide range of products that increase humins and promote microbes that actually come with a level of accuracy and consistency compared to ever changing witche's brews.

Maintaining soil microbiology isn't some new fancy idea. Low and no-till farming has been popular and on the rise for decades, because of the understanding that maintaining the soil structure was more beneficial than tillage. That benefit came to light when you could deal with the excess weeding that a lack of tillage allows via broadcast spraying of herbicide.

Also don't pretend like htere's any kind of farming that maintains a soil naturally that lets plants protect themselves. Nothing about farming is natural.

Then you post something like this:

http://npic.orst.edu/factsheets/glyphogen.html

To prove what?

That it has low toxicity. Low environmental risk. Gets broken down by bacteria in the soil (even though it kills all the microbes in the soil, apparently). Low exposure risk, etc.? Did you even read the page? It's a highly effective, low-risk herbicide that reduces the need for ones that are worse for people and the environment.

Complete science illiteracy if I've ever seen it.

The girl is actually there to teach Johnny how to eat healthy, not the other way around.

Not sure why anyone is still afraid of Gaudreau's eating habits.

Don't you all know that he has switched to hippy dippy dolphin friendly kale smoothies?

^ Vernon looks like he's going to puke.

On topic, whatever Johnny is doing he needs to keep it up. Even if its only Skittles & Gatorade.

The best thing about this commercial is that Gaudreau is prob the only 1 of them that would eat the spaghetti and meatballs on a regular basis.

Yep it's a thing. My roommate and I ate it when we were poor students and my 10 year old will only eat pasta with a little bit of butter and pepper.

Have we explored the idea that this purple drink is actually just dissolved Skittles?

Has anyone dissolved Skittles?! I'm 90% sure I remember it being purple...
