Stempniak.....wrong place at wrong time. Ference likely felt that team was going down the toilet. It was something to do to send a message. He just did it badly.

Ference...the ex you had an amazing relationship with, only to find out a few years later she married the biggest greasy jerk. Sorry Andrew, thanks for the memories but you can't get that gross Oilers stink off.

Was happy for him winning a cup in Boston. I still hate that trade, it really ruined the teams chemistry IMO. Brad Stuart? Wtf

Ference was one of my favourite Flames ever and I loved his personality and effort. I also ended up following him in Boston because I got centre ice and the Bruins were one of the first teams broadcasting their games in HD. I was very impressed with his playoffs against the Canucks and the comments wishing he won the cup with the Flames. Of course then he signed with the Oiler and became dead to me.

Anyways, congrats on a solid career, you will be missed.
