Default Full Screen Video on Dual Monitor Setup?

Hoping someone has a quick answer for this.

Streaming the prospects tournament and have a dual monitor. Want to go full screen on one side and work on my other monitor.

Running Firefox on Mac OSX 10.6.4

How do I run the stream through VLC? I see File > Open Network, but how do I get the info from the www.youngstars.insinc.com feed?

I'd like to figure this out too.
The best solution I've found is to run the second screen or TV from my laptop otherwise I just enlarge the picture until it fits more or less on my monitor. Still have the tool bars though.

Yeah, that's what I've done, enlarge the picture. Not the greatest solution but I guess it has to be done.

There's a lot of ways to do this but it's a limitation of browser based streams as you are at the mercy of whatever formatting their choose and many will simply not let you fullscreen the video or stream the video from a separate application that has fullscreen functionality.

I've tried for years to get hockey streams from many sites to work on dual monitors consistently through software and it's just not worth it when you get get a POS laptop for really cheap (or even rescue from the recycle bin at Staples LOL) and just stream the video from there and hook it up to the 2nd monitor.

I haven't watched the youngstars games yet so I don't know what implementation they use so I can't really offer any advice on how to do this at this time. The most ghetto way is to simply use a separate browser that will magnify videos the same way it does pictures when you hold CTRL and roll the mouse wheel. Many web videostreams don't even let you do this though as they have heavily enforced and defined dimensions which sucks!

I actually ran into this same problem watching the young star tournament couple days ago so I decided to go find a solution for it on the web. The problem I had was that the full screen kept minimizing back to regular screen when I tried to do some work on the second monitor.

Apparently this is a flash issue. The fix is on this page.

OK, this new flash update seems to have solved the problem for me on Firefox.
