I heard at one point this was pitched as a Star Wars movie - certainly has all the elements in the trailer (rebellion against an evil empire, even blue and red laser swords).
I was optimistic after reading the article. I was far less so after seeing the trailer. It looks like it is just loads of action with no soul, but tough to tell by a trailer.
"Why does this remind me of Sucker Punch" was my first thought watching the trailer.
Then I wondered if it was going to be a series, there's SO much stuff in the trailer even 2 movies it feels like it's just going to be a race from one cool looking thing to the next.
Hopefully it's good.

Ya kind of torn as well. Looks like some Starcraft and Warhammer influences as well on top of the Star Wars atmosphere.
I mean Snyder has been so good in the past... I remember seeing the first trailer for 300 and thinking this looks really weird and convoluted..
I'll definitely watch it on Netflix. But based on that trailer I wouldn't be running to a theatre.

I cant even finish the trailer for that and I can already tell you its going to suck.
Sorry Zack...if your teaser trailer is almost 4 minutes long then I can already tell that you had trouble cutting stuff out and keeping the story concise and tight.
That movie looks like 12 interesting ideas smashed together in a mish-mashed mess.
It looks like the bastard child of 'Jupiter Ascending, Cloud Atlas and Dune' after a disgusting weekend in Vegas.
