I'd say from the list, Bing Crosby and Walt Disney would rank higher.
Prince Charles is no small thing, either.
There is some really cool people on the list.
I like Eugene Cernan - Apollo 17 Space Flight Commander

Costner likes it here, too, so that makes sense. I remember stories of him randomly playing pick up basketball with Calgarians downtown while filming here. He seems like a down to earth celebrity.

I can't imagine a better hollywood celebrity to do this given the massive success of Yellowstone.

the other name that always stood out to me was Bob Hope- I get it, he hung around way too long, his comedy doesn't hold up in many respects etc , but I think in 1963 he was still a pretty big /famous star?

Was just about to post that the year they had Mickey/Minnie AND Lanny McDonald was probably the peak, while the year they had a beer advertising spokesdog would be the nadir.

My aunt works in extras casting for a lot of movies filmed in BC and Alberta, and has worked with Costner several times. Just as nice as he seems and always has lunch with the crew instead of ducking into their own trailer. Him and Matthew McConaughey are her two favorite stars to work with

So what's the deal with the Coca Cola stage? New location or something?

It's the lineup for Nashville North. Canadian country acts for the most part. They went younger this year than in the past, which is not a bad thing.

I've been wondering about this, as currently it is rubble. Oddly enough, I can't even mentally place where it used to be anymore when I'm down there. Things are so different now.
