Kerins will drop down a slot or two in the scoring race as some of the guys around him make up covid games. So if he's 4th/5th or whatever in the next bit - probably not a sign he's slumping - Sault just hasn't had as many games cancelled as some others.

The watch is on for Jeremie Poirier to break Thomas Chabot's franchise record for d-man points with the Sea Dogs.
Chabot's record is 153 points in 202 games played.
Poirier is currently at 147 points in 193 games played and Poirier is averaging just above a point per game this season.
Either way Poirier should break the record unless something really unfortunate and unlucky happens. Just will be cooler to do it in fewer games played

Keep seeing 0's for Jordan. Is this getting concerning yet?
I know Ive mentioned it before but sermed like lots of folks were high on him, but doesnt seem like theres any offensive upside. I've never seen him play, so have nothing else to base this on.
I know its early and sounds like hes a good skater so lots of time to round out.

I might be guilty of being the one responsible for driving the Cole Jordan train. I still believe in him, but there’s reason to think his offense isn’t there. I think this season is a total washout for him, due to injury and the fact that he plays behind two “franchise” junior players in Hunt and Mateychuk, which is unlikely to change next year. I have only limited viewings of CJ, but I always thought he stood out in a positive way, and I think a move away from Moose Jaw is necessary in order to see what we truly have in this player. He may develop into a more defensive defenseman with speed and some sandpaper, which is fine, but I still believe he’s more than that.

Good to see Beck scoring after a tough year and a half or so. Also I’m not too worried about Cole Jordan, he’s had a cut up couple of years as well here and is tool box is what’s important not so much the tools at this point. He’s got a really good structure to his game and his build and once he’s able to turn pro I think he will make strides in his game that are more notable.

Is Kerins going to get a contract soon or is he intent on getting drafted again?
