Wow, Sabres front office suddenly looking exceptionally competent. I clowned that TT contract but look properly like an idiot now. Having TT and Cozens signed for under 15 mil for the next 7 years seems pretty excellent.

pretty funny they gave Thompson a round $50m over 7 years while Cozens has to settle for $49.7m lol

Hockey is definitely taking a page from Baseball and signing these RFA's to longer term deals with more money when they look like premium players.

If the player stays healthy usually a good deal. If they don't you might have a Monahan.
