For the newer F1 fans, the 1997 Lola team was 11 seconds off the pace at the Australian GP and they folded before the second race of the season.

These cars are gorgeous - glad there won't be an eyeball 'breaking in' period like some years. The halo seems better integrated and less 'bolted-on' than past years.
My only grip would be the wheel covers, but maybe they won't be so bad on the track.

During the tests, McLaren also carried out a trial which saw them include a series of LED strips along the wheel trim, to test a new technology to display logos/sponsors with a view to a possible introduction in 2023 – which would be particularly visible at night races of which there are now several on the calendar.

LEDs might be cool, or might be hokey...will be interesting to see.

The McLarens really slick but I love the AM more overall. Just looks so badass.
I'm thinking the Ferrari is going to look similar to the Haas with some extra Ferrari-Ness added on top.
Interested to see how the others shake out. Curious on the Williams and Alpines. Don't care much about the Mercs.
Would really love to see Williams take a giant leap into the fray this season.
So far I love the fact every car is visibly different from each other and that to me is what I loved about F1 back in the day, some creativity and individualism.

Whenever we run a night race someone will inevitably put those led valve caps on his wheels, it's kinda cool, kinda cheesy, but the kids love it.
I think having them programmed to spell out sponsors names won't be as well received.

Shame that Alpha Tauri couldn't keep the white wheels, but still a nice looking car

Looks good. Besides the underside of the car, it seems the side pod area has the most variation between cars.

I wonder if that wheel design is going to cause any brake cooling issues. Or heat buildup causing tire issues.

Unlikely. They have way bigger brakes this year with a car that's basically the same weight.

Which is 2% heavier.
The brakes can be up to 20% larger, though I doubt they'd want to go as big as that.

The Alfa looks similar ish to the AM22 with the vent cut outs on the top of the sidepods. But the air intake above the driver is cool and unique with 4 intakes.
The Williams livery is a welcome change and their car looks like it has a 3 tier side pod architecture. 1st time we've seen that.
I absolutely love that every single car has its own personality and design language so far.

Honestly I haven't really liked anything since the late 90s/early 2000s.
This high rake nonsense is garbage.
I'll take something that looks like the F2004 over anything in the last 15 years.
The current cars are too wide and too long and don't sound like a race car. I'm looking forward to the engine change with the next formula because in my opinion they got it horribly wrong from 2014 on.

So who's left to reveal now? The Mercs and Alpine?
