Awww ####, man. I think he was looking for a sky hook on the previous possession, but it just wasn't there.

Kareem is classy and I'm sure he's totally content.

It's hard not to be in awe of Lebron James's athletic dominance. The guy is incredible. I still prefer Kareem the human being, not only am I in awe of his accomplishments as an athlete but even more so as an engaged thoughtful citizen.

Incredible achievement by Lebron. Even if you don’t think he’s better than MJ, you have to admit that he’s had the greatest longevity of anyone who’s ever played basketball

Being the second best player of all-time is a pretty good place to be for LeBron. Lest we forget all the hype back in 2003, so for him to get this high up on the all-time list is pretty remarkable on it's own, rarely do such hyped players truly live up to it, and he exceeded it.

From a makeup of what an ideal bodied basketball player should look like, Lebron is it. He’s a tank while speedy and agile enough to run the floor. Who knows when the next guy like him comes but it’s an incredible accomplishment to be so consistent. Can’t help but laugh a bit when he swore. Kareem wants people yo be classy, and it seems Lebrun went out of his way to stick that in. Pretty immature.

Kareem's article on the topic is fantastic. Definitely get the impression that the guy just wants to watch a great basketball achievement and hates everyone trying to analyze his reaction.

I wonder if Kareem still secretly considers himself the leading scorer based on the fact that only 1 of his shots was a 3 pointer. Most made shots ftw? lol

Westbrook mercifully traded to the Jazz.

Dlo to the Lakers.

That’s how you pivot from not landing Kyrie:

Did anyone else find it weird how they completely stopped the game right in the middle and had a huge ceremony?!?

I understand it's a huge accomplishment but I just expected a stoppage of play and a standing ovation. But to conduct an interview on the court with like 20 seconds left in the 3rd was just so strange.

I guess DLo is a decent enough hail-mary, but I doubt it works. It would be fun if LAL could make it into the play-in.

Also kinda funny how it essentially worked out like this:

D'lo for Kuzma
Kuzma for Westbrook
Westbrook fo D'Lo

Basketball doesn't mind walking the line between sport and theatre. They do it in many ways.

Raptors get Poeltl from the Spurs in exchange for Khem Birch, a protected 2024 first round pick, and two future seconds. No link yet, just came in on my Score app.

The Suns are sending Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder, four first-round picks, a 2028 pick swap for Durant and TJ Warren, sources tell ESPN. Durant wanted move and new owner Mat Ishbia pushed to get deal done tonight.

Suns gut the team.

That sounds like a heavy price, though I haven't followed Poeltl's progress since we dealt him away in the Kawhi deal.
