I was just watching an interview with Knoxville and he had four concussions
(for a total of 13 in his life!) and lost a couple of teeth making this movie. The guy's pushing 50 and I don't know if he can continue abusing his body like this.

I'm a sucker for Jackass so I'll definitely be seeing this as stupid as it might be.

It looks like he's had some serious plastic surgery.

But man, the stuff the guy does is just reckless.

Just read that this movie is based on an actual park in New Jersey from the 80s/early 90s that was responsible for many injuries and a few deaths.

It reopened a few years ago under a new name, Mountain Creek Waterpark:

I get that this is open source material but damn if it isn't going to confuse audiences. Also, is a darker vision for this character going to work? Young kids aren't going to want to watch this.

Does anyone remember the Alpine Slide at Kimberley? That thing was pure insanity. I remember being like 7 and they just sent you on your way. No helmets!

I grew up in the Okanagan and Vernon used to have a metal bobsled track right beside the Atlantis water slides. No helmet and only a single lever to control your speed with, but that didn't stop many kids from coming too hot into the entrance/exit area and smashing into parked sleds. I remember going around a corner too fast and smashing my head against the track, looking back I have no idea how anyone thought it was a good idea to let young kids on that thing

I shouldve died at least twice a summer on that thing. I was pretty sad when I went back with my gf and it was completely gone. 10 year old me wants that ride back!

It sounds like WB started working on the project first but then went through a bunch of pre-production issues, and it didn't look like the movie was going ahead. Disney then announced their film, but WB got their act together shortly afterwards. Disney got their movie finished first and then Disney's became a big hit, so WB delayed theirs.

The WB film seems to have become a vehicle for Andy Serkis, who is awesome, so it could be good.

Yeah...the more I think about it, the more I think you guys might be right. I had some apprehension about Cohen due to his persona and his large size, but seeing Malik more and more, I can't shake his mopy Mr. Robot persona.

Freddie Mercury is just one of those people that was so unique that I don't think anyone could ever really do him justice.

Suspiria remake trailer released today. The original Suspiris is one of my top 10 favorite horror movies of all time, I hope this could live up to the hype. The only modern horror remakes which I have enjoyed are Dawn of the Dead and the Crazies (Im sure I'm missing some these just popped into my head)

I wonder how many original cast members come back. Kelly McGillis looks like she could play Mavericks Mom. Val Kilmer would be able to play the cargo plane flying rubber dog %%% to Hong Kong.

They need Kilmer, the Maverick/Iceman rivalry is what drove the first movie.

He doesn't need to play a big role, but he needs to show up at the right time, but this time to push Mav in a support role.
