Sportsnet just announced the remaining tv schedule. 2 games involving flames prospects this month.
http://www.chl.ca/fullstory.php?id=991
Feb 6 Windsor(Nemisz) vs. London. Should be a really good game. Two top teams in the league.
Feb 22 Kelowna(Backlund and Grantham) vs. Chilliwack.
Also as mentioned above tomorrow is the OHL all star game and that will be televised by sportsnet. Nemisz will be playing in it.

He's 18 and still eligible next year. No slight for an 18 year old not to make it.
And yeah, I'm getting excited about Nemisz.

Goal and an assist for Backlund tonight. Gives him 12 points in 10 games so far.

Wow...Hodgson with 3 goals and 2 assists. Vancouver has had some weak drafting, but I think they have a good player in Hodgson. Early days, but it looks like the Islanders whiffed (again) by taking Bailey over Hodgson.

Well Bailey is playing in the NHL right now (maybe he shouldn't be there) but way to early to say they whiffed.

Bailey's a good player, he just plays for a crap team.
I watched him a lot last year, I like him a lot.

You can only have 3 20 year olds in the WHL and I am pretty sure it is the same in all 3 CHL leagues.

Backlund with another goal last night. This time a beauty GWG in OT. Now has 5 goals 8 assists and is +2 in 11 games.

Nemisz with another goal tonight in the Spit's 6-1 win against Niagara.
Their record is 18-1 in their last 19 games.

Dumb Q, but is Niemsz playing on the 1st line? And who are his linemates?

I'll let bigtmac correct me if I am wrong, but watching two of the games that were on sportsnet Nemisz was on the second line. He played with Loktionov and Wellwood. He was on the first power play unit though.

This is pretty recent, since the trade for Scott Timmins. Before this I beleive he was lining up with Henrique and Welwwod. He was also on the second PP unit at that point.

Kyle Greentree is #3 in goal scoring in the A. Nice pick up Sutter. I wouldnt mind seeing what he can do up in the NHL at some point this year.
I was just checking the stats page for the QC boys. Seems like Greentree, Chucko, Lundmark, Germyn, are all having great years even though the QC team is struggling a little bit. All 4 of those players have actually already past their Career highs with over 30 games left in the season.
Im not gonna bother posting these stats, but I thought I would share that with anyone who havent checked it out for themselves.
I think Greentree and Lundmark were excellent pickups for possible callups for the team. We all consider these guys to be AHL lifers, but there are many instances of players not coming into their prime till later in their years. Should be interesting to watch for the next few years.
Anyone know how long these two are signed for?

Greentree is a RFA after this season. Lundmark is a UFA after this season.
According to Ek's site, which I usually steer clear of, but the cap pages are pretty handy.
