For now it looks like the Flyers have a decent rookie goalie. The Flyers flew past the Jets as Carter Hart gets his 7th win so far stopping 31 shots. He actually played over the weekend for the Flyers farm team during the all star break. Brossoit did all he could for the Jets facing 31 shots. It was scoreless after the first period. Both teams scored on deflected shots, the Flyers 3rd goal was a bad defensive play by the Jets. I saw somewhere on a website that the Flyers have won 7 straight home games over the Jets.

The Devils put a stop to their 3 game losing streak with this victory. Travis Zajac had 1g, 3a. The special teams for the Devils were the reason they won this game as they scored 2 PPGs, 1 SHG, and 5 for 5 on the PK. Matt Murray, who is hot right now, let in all 6 goals. Kinkaid faced 40 Penguins shots gets the win after his own 4 game losing skid. The Pens came out strong in the 3rd period out shooting the Devils 18-7 and scored a SHG.
