To say the Pittsburgh Penguins have struggled out of the gate is an understatement. The team has been downright horrible in all aspects.

The Pens got together with the Sharks on Tuesday and completed a blockbuster deal involving 6 players.

The Pens will continue to look for trades. Look for the team to look to improve the Defence and Goaltending next.

Sharks have the best team D in the CPHL but worst Offence. Somehow we are 3-1-1. So why not mix it up, we haven’t traded in awhile and we’re due. Sid has been OK but Wheeler hasn’t done a thing so it will be interesting to see what this trade will do for our team.

Penguins get the better rated players, Sharks get a little younger and 1 RFA contract.

I think it’s a fair trade.
