Only a handful of games (3 I think) left for KC. They're not going to the playoffs.
He's been "not bad" on a bad team. He has been relegated to a backup role the last while.
Chechelev is still looking for a ELC. Perhaps this promotion portends better fortunes.

Just like the big club last night, the Heat come back from a 3-1 deficit to win.
4-3 in OT over Henderson.

What a season by Pelletier. Takes the rookie scoring title away from the legendary Mark Jankowski. From the game recap on the Stockton website:

At some point, do Dustin Wolf and/or Jakob Pelletier warrant AHL Rookie of the Year consideration?
(Tyler Toffoli and Darryl Sutter both past winners).

Yeah, you've got to think they are in the mix.
Peterka has 24-39-63 in 66 games.
Pelletier has 27-31-58 in 62.
Quinn has 25-32-57 in 41games which is pretty impressive.
Pelletier is the only plus player and he's +21. So he's second in total rookie points and first in plus/minus for rookies (16th in the league). I'd say he has a solid case from what I can tell.
Wolf is even stronger. Leads the league in wins. Tied for 6th in GAA (2.33). 3rd in save percentage. And that is league-wide. He is clearly first in each category among rookies.
Awesome season for both, but my vote would be Wolf.

Wolf will almost certainly win it. He might win AHL MVP.

How has Pettersen looked this year? His production seems to have gone up a bit lately.

Don't know much about Chechelev's playing style, but judging by the streaming audio broadcast tonight he likes to play the puck a lot.
Could've had an assist on the Phillips goal.
