That trailer shows a little too much. If you read this before watching, I'd avoid it if want to go into the new season with a little mystery.

Anyone watching The Wilds? it's kind of a take within Lord of the Flys / Lost genre, teen society of lost children on a tropical island trying to govern themselves but being driven by nefarious forces. But they pretty much promise early in the series not to have the same stupid ending as Lost.

Half way through season two, it got off to a weird start but equally intriguing

Kids in the hall is way funnier than I was expecting it to be

I should have heeded your words.

Agreed. I can't believe how good it is. From the new sketches to the references to old characters/sketches to the general chemistry that they all still have as a crew, it's really good.
I hope Amazon renews them for another season.

I'm still debating whether or not it was a good idea to let the Kids in the Hall off the leash lol.

I love it but they definitely ramped up the uncomfortable visuals. I can't decide if full creative freedom is an actual good thing just yet.

I'm leaning the other way.
I think it's just "ok". an occasional laugh out loud skit, but mostly just meh.
I'm enjoying it just because it's the kids.

also a few skits that are not funny and go on way too long. the boring one where the characters patrol the apartment complex is a good example.

The one was the "assassin" is another good example.

The Obstetrician one with Dave Foley and his catch rate was really good, though.

Good for nostalgia, just ok for quality of product.

A lot of time has passed since the original series aired- I think this is a very faithful yet updated version of the KITH- While not all the sketches are home runs, they weren't really in the old days either. Only 3 episodes in so far but will certainly finish it.

totally going to finish it. I've only watched 5 episodes so far and I don't think it's bad, but I guess I set the bar higher than I should have.

Have to admit I respect the dedication to their craft to do what they did it the first skit. I could never have done that in a million years.

So far, I think they probably could have pushed the envelope a bit more than they did. I thought they've kept it rather tame, all things considered.

I really hope they got a boatload of money. They deserve it.

Anyone watch the full season of Outer Range? I was so-so on it at times, but the finale was surreal neo-noir western at its best. I wish the time-travel rules were a little sharper, and right now I can't tell whether it's a matter of the rules being loose, or just not fully explained yet.

Had a non-Covid Cold this past long weekend and Binge Watched The Halo Live action series with the PAramount+ add-on.

It was actually a pretty decent binge watch.

Have to admit I was biting my tongue a lot through the first couple of episodes, but they really hit their stride in episode 3 which basically felt exactly like watching the original series. The only part I didn't care for was the friends of kids in the hall interludes.

Otherwise... I've got a brand new pair of rollerskates... just great.

Have been watching the new Chris Pratt show, The Terminal List on Prime-

Once I got past the first episode it got pretty good, worth a watch

So timely! I finished the boys and started watching. Fell asleep which is never a good sign…. I will return to the show.

I also watched “all the old knives” which meandered through the story but was happy with the ending.

“The contractor” was another Chris Pine joint and it was okay with certain logic leaps that just have to be ignored.

Lord of the rings previews look expensive!

I didn't realize it was a serial. Don't know how I missed that during the 37 ads I've exposed to in the last week
