If I had never eaten it before, I would have to agree with you. But for some strange reason (probably something to do with aliens) it works.

There's nothing wrong with combining sweet, salty and savoury in a single bite!

I'm a simple man. Mozzarella often does the trick.

Anything with good density really.

Buffalo mozzarella.

I don't know about anyone else but pizza in cartoons always looks sooo good to me....I assume its always plain cheese, but still...gets me every time.

This thread makes me sad because the best pizza joint here burned down over a year ago, and the others don't even come close!

also, back when I lived in renfrew, roma's in bridgeland was amazing. I hear they changed owners and aren't as good anymore though.

I only order out for pizza once a year; on my birthday. Which is later this week. So I am pondering, with cost not being at all a factor, which place I want to order from. I think I've spent more time on this decision than I did deciding my major in university.

I recently had Pizza Hut's cheese stuffed crust and I was very disappointed. Amazing idea, terrible execution. I don't know how they possibly screwed that up, but they did.

There first mistake was not using actual cheese. They've used something similar to the prices stuff found in a chessstring. Moza would have been better.

I'd go for Tommy's Pizza in the south. Best pizza in town and they usually win at least one award every year for their pizzas.

If anyone is downtown and doesn't mind the crowd, Cafe Med has some of the best pizza in town. Their All Meat pizza is unbelievable.

Pizza is one of the few foods that is almost impossible to make inedible. Back in HS I grabbed a cheap slice of Hawaiian 'za which had bologna instead of ham and I still ate it. Talk about cost cutting.

Big fan of Hawaiian. Didn't like it when I was a kid but it's pretty much the only kind I eat now. A great Canadian invention.
