Why is crave such a dog #### platform? I can watch any show except the one I actually want to watch it. When I click the one I want (billions) it just lags and then says it can’t be played. Anyone had this issue?

Rarely, but there is an hdmi cable issue that comes up once in a while. I just re-connect it and it goes away. IIRC its some HDCP error and it’s strange because it is only when I try to start streaming, navigating and stuff is fine. Though, it definitely isn’t specific to a show.

I switched to airplay from my iPad. Was originally on the Xbox. Now it’s working fine…. So weird. But I watched a couple episodes of Silicon Valley in the meantime which is always fun.

Just finished Tokyo Vice Season 1. I was really impressed with the series and acting. Love the inside look on the Yakuza. Yes, it is dramatized, but super intriguing. I hope that they make Season 2, given the lead's recent PR troubles.
It motivated to go pick up the book on the weekend too.

That whole thing is weird. Showrunners said it's a dramatization, now people don't believe the book, some guy said some of it is made up, others have said it's true.
Wtf.

Complained to Telus that when I renewed my internet contract for $60/month that they didn't cancel the $20 a month that was for Telus Pik + Crave/HBO that I requested.
They said they couldn't change it so they gave me the 1 year of Crave/HBO free.

Sometime in the last month Bell decided to ditch 5.1 audio support for the crave app. Seems like it’s across all devices. Apparently firing news anchors isn’t the only way that ####ty scam of a company decided to save a few bucks.

Your phone has 5.1? Do you broadcast to a receiver with it?
I’m referring to tv devices. Firestick, roku, Apple TV, smart tv apps etc seem to have lost it.

Ya, I have a Chromecast plugged into my receiver that detects 5.1. I remember 3 or 4 years ago it used to be 2 channel only on Crave, and my receiver would show that, so I'm pretty sure it is feeding 5.1.

This Reddit thread seems to show some people are having issues(when you FFWD it goes to 5.1 seems to be a clue), so maybe it is just a glitch.
