I realise he's not going to say it should have been red, but if Son got a straight red for his kick out where Rudiger went down like he was shot, that's obviously red.
I really don't care though. He scored to really rub salt in the wound, and we have Chelsea next weekend, so hopefully their downfall continues.

agreed. Precedent was set with the Son decision, so I really don't get why the concept of consistency is so elusive for VAR and the terrible English refs. Chelsea got shafted twice today, Maguire should have been off and IMO the Zouma goal should have counted. Honestly have to feel a bit for them, but it's obviously a massive result for United.

Son broke his arm this past weekend, so now we're super thin up top. Obviously, we should have brought a striker in, because it's either an 18 year old or some kind of makeshift line heading into a critical stretch for us.

Now who is getting all the love from VAR?
Quote:
Goals from Olivier Giroud and Marcos Alonso either side of half time earned Chelsea a crucial 2-1 victory over top-four rivals Tottenham on Saturday, as the Premier League admitted VAR failed to spot a red card for Giovani Lo Celso.
Spurs could have been reduced to 10 men on 52 minutes when Lo Celso appeared to stamp on Cesar Azpilicueta's ankle, but referee Michael Oliver opted to take no action. VAR later issued a statement in which they admitted the Argentina international should have been sent off.

NBC suggested having a VAR for the VAR. Not sure I still think of that as a joke ...

In this line though, the commentators chosen fpr these games are so irritating. Why do we have to listen to 90 minutes of Andy Townsend when it’s Chelsea? I do like having former players on there in general, but a full game of biased commentary week after week is just grating. Im probably overly sensitive to it, but it does seem like a lot of these guys just flat-out hate Tottenham and have nothing to add that couldn’t be offered by a non-biased former player.

Not sure how that’s a penalty when the De Bruyne one earlier wasn’t. Also those City jerseys are hideous.

cheeky pen by Bruno and two fantastic goals by Martial and Greenwood. At home against Watford looked like a prime opportunity to eff it up, so I'll take it. Fernandes looks really good so far, and McTominay is back from injury ... can't wait for Fred-McTominay-Fernandes, think that could work well.

I always go right to "That's gotta be match fixing" when I see something that bad.
