I didn't expect this as often I'll do fasted rides in the morning but maybe my crazy sleep schedule messed something up. I've never experienced a total drop in blood sugar like that, my body just wanted to go to sleep and I almost couldn't get off the bike.

I finally made it to Market Mall at a snails pace and consumed coffee and carbs. Nothing has ever tasted more delicious!
Bonking sucks! Next time you do fasting ride, make sure you at least have a bar with you.

Does anyone know where I can find one online?

I don't live in Calgary. The cycling jerseys I've looked at in shops locally (Winnipeg) generally don't come close to fitting.

Thank you.
https://www.orbitwe.com worked for me and I'm 5 11 and 295 lbs lol.

We had an ex pro boxer on our team years ago. He would have to either cut the sleeves off altogether or cut a vertical line with scissors.

Cool sunset colors over the mountains this eve as viewed from the SW slopes of Nosehill… followed not that much later with watching the orange moon rise from the NE section of Nosehill. What great fall riding… might be a little chilly but no bugs and no crowds. Gotta remember to bring adequate lighting cos those twisty downhills are a real blast after dark.
Good times.

Just a head's up- the pathway is closed going north from Lynnview down into Beaverdam Flats. Which isn't so bad if you discover the closure when going north. It might be a bit of a longer detour if you hit it going southbound.

I know they closed it once before to fix that ugly bump near the top of the hill. Hopefully they actually fix it this time.

Slightly off topic, but I was thinking about biking the road too Moraine Lake, I know the road is closed but does anyone know if there would be a bunch of snow on there already?

Judging by the webcams, I'd think not. It's much lower elevation than the top of Ptarmigan that looks to have a small amount. The forecast doesn't look ideal, though:

I wasn't sure if this should go in the cycling thread, the fashion thread, or the I don't want to live on this planet anymore thread.

Ride around with those on an ebike in spandex, and let me know what insults get tossed.

He wore cut off Birkenstocks, not Crocs which is more respectable.

It’s probably cool if you have to bail quickly and can’t unclip. I am just imagining a bunch of cyclists with their feet slipping out of their crocs.

Lachlan Morton's Alt Tour documentary has been posted on YouTube. If you didn't hear about it, he attempted to ride, and complete, the entire Tour de France route and the transfers between stages, before the Tour finished.

The documentary is really good and shows what a down-to-earth guy Lachlan is. Pretty rare for a pro-athlete.

Can any recommend a yellow high-vis cycling jacket that doesn't cost $200 and is not terrible quality?

barring a closeout sale somewhere, i am thinking this might be your most inexpensive option at $99:

I thought I scanned through everything at mec.ca.

Did not see that one, good enough, done, sold. Thanks!

I was out at West Bragg today. The last few hundred metres of Kestrel was finished and it now connects with Tom Snow. They did a great job. It was a tiring but fun ride.
