According to 3downnation, the Elks have put Trevor Harris on the trade block (trade deadline is October 27th). Harris is due a lot of money including a pretty hefty bonus in February of 2022.

I'm sure they'll just cut him if they can't get an asset back for him.

However, the Argos have apparently kicked tires on trading Nick Arbuckle: https://3downnation.com/2021/10/14/t...e-discussions/

If I'm a team like Montreal and I need a QB, I'm not sure who I'd go with. My gut says Arbuckle because he's got more athleticism (at least when he's healthy), and I'm not sure how easy it is to plug and play a QB that is more of a pure pocket passer (Zach Collaros to WPG last year was likely the exception rather than the rule)...

Andrew Harris just scored a TD but took a big hit at the end of the play. He looks to be okay though (limping a little).

Edit: That play ended Harris' night.

Boy there doesn't look like even 10k fans in the stands. This league is in big trouble if markets like Edmonton aren't coming out for games.

Let's remember though that this is happening during the 4th wave of covid, and the Elks happen to be in last place at the same time. I don't think this attendance pattern is indicative of normal times (except for the Elks being in last place, that part is very normal).

Refs trying to give this game to Edmonton. Why does Edmonton homer Dustin Nielson get to call so many Elks games. It’s annoying listening to him get all giddy when something goes the Elks way!!

Yeah it doesnt seem to happen often but my recollection is they both usually do well when it does.

I played a 2 game money line parlay just because....pays 50.60 on a 10 dollar wager.

Ugh.

No Huff and no KJ.

Ambles and Mayala need to step up. Still think Henry is a guy who can make big plays with his speed but they so rarely go deep he becomes neutered.
