Avoid non-essential travel to the western states of Guerrero (including Acapulco but excluding the cities of Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo and Taxco), Michoacán (excluding the city of Morelia) and Colima (excluding the city of Manzanillo) due to the high levels of violence and organized crime.

Looks like it will be a while before Felix takes the court as the match before his has only just gotten underway. This should be a good test for Felix to see if he can sustain his high level on the Clay.
The stats certainly suggest his game is rounding into fine form with serve/return stat lines (albeit with a limited sample size) that are trending towards top 20-30 ranking levels. Very exciting to know this year could be massive for FAA!

Come on Laslo, slam the trunk on Ruud so we can bring on Felix.
Edit: Trunk slammed. Felix should be up in 20 minutes or so.

Oh boy, no tv coverage for Felix's match, TSN.ca will have it (or if you have a TennisTV subscription).

Felix with an early break on Munar as he is serving up 2-1. The crowd in Rio is definitely behind him as well.

Felix now up a double-breaker. Hitting with power and precision thus far.
Edit: Plays a loose service game and gives a break back. Now up 4-2

I think they would have started showing the match, but the earlier matches went long. At any rate, Felix got the break back and is serving for the first set up 5-2. Munar is all out of sorts as well.

Felix needs to stick with the power game and steer clear of the cute stuff, now serving for the first set up 5-4.
Edit: Impressive service game and FAA locks down set 1 6-4

Munar is receiving some medical treatment, his previous match went 3 hours and 19 minutes and he does look fatigued today.

Felix closes out a long service game and leads 3-1 in set 2.

After being broken, Felix comes back from love-40 down to break right back and is serving up 4-3 in set 2.

Wowza, closes it out in style with a break of Munar. 6-4 6-3 and Felix is into the semi-finals.

32 winners for Felix to 7 for Munar. It was a dominant performance by FAA.
