Looking at Pelletier and he has really good stats when looking at his age and production in the QMJHL.

3) Duclair: 1.05

3) Mackinnon: 1.70
4) Ehlers: 1.65
5) Dubois: 1.60
6) Huberdeau: 1.57
7) Hischier: 1.51
8) Bourque: 1.45
9) Grigorenko: 1.44
10) Beauvillier: 1.40
11) Pelletier: 1.37
U19 Production Last 10 Years
1) Drouin: 2.35
2) Lafreniere: 2.15
3) Ehlers: 1,96
4) Huberdeau: 1.95
5) Garland: 1.93
6) Veleno: 1.76
7) Beauvillier: 1.68
Before his injury he was on pace for 1.88 pts per game which would have ranked very highly as well, Pelletier ended at 1.44 PPG after struggling with injuries. So even if you split the difference there and say it's likely he could have been in the 1.66 range then he's in pretty good company.
Honestly if Pelletier can be a player at the level of Beauvillier I would be stoked.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised. Canada tends to lean towards guys that played for them in past tournaments for bubble positions and both Zary and Pelletier played on the U-18 WJC team together, and Pelletier played in the Hlinka. Only barrier will be it's a really, really deep forward group with a couple of returning forwards.
