U of A product and Alberta boy (Spruce Grove) Mark Korte started his first game last night, he was selected in this year's draft. I played high school football against and minor hockey with his dad and uncle. Great family.

Montreal is brutal
On the flip side Streveler continues to look good. He looks like he is custom made for the CFL with his athleticism and good arm

Can you imagine if Streveler was a Rider and doing this? The coverage and knob slobbering from TSN would be non stop. Darian who?
Also.. Drew Willy. LOL. Toronto traded us an all star DB and a 1st overall for him. LOL. Oh man.

Looks like Bombers finally have a QB, not the pretend QB they've had for last couple of years.

You know what? This Masoli guy is pretty good. He's on a big run of 300+ yard games and he's been spectacular today despite subpar blocking. It looks like the only way Johnny Football is going to get on the field is in injury relief or mop up duty.

Yep, Masoli certainly seems like he can be a pretty damn good qb in this league. Wonder what the asking price would be for Manziel on the trade market at this point... not that I see that happening anytime soon, just curious.

Masoli looks great and former U of C Dino Mercer Timmis had a huge game rushing the rock, ripped the Eskies for 133 yards along the ground with a couple of TDs.

As a cfl fan, I’m pretty excited about the number of quality quarterbacks there seems to be this year. Im still not sold on the situations in Saskatchewan and Montreal, but the other teams all seem pretty solid. You have to wonder though, you don’t bring in a guy Manziel and not play him eventually. You have to believe that he’s hoping to prove himself in the next two years with the hope of returning to the NFL. You have to wonder if Hamilton makes a trade somewhere down the line.

Ricky Ray released from hospital.
Toronto Argonauts QB Ricky Ray, the team’s all-time leading passer, was released from a Toronto hospital earlier today and is now recovering comfortably at home with his family. Ray suffered a neck injury in the third quarter of Saturday’s game against Calgary.
Ray is still to undergo more tests to further evaluate the injury. He will miss significant time this season due to the injury and there is no timetable for his return at this point.

Yikes, I honestly didn’t think it’d be this bad. You have to wonder if he calls it a career. I hope not. Best wishes for the guy.

He should call it, he's got rings, records and he's a first ballot hall of famer. He dosen't need to prove his courage or fortitude. He can step aside and let someone else lead the team.

Eskies set to sign Sam Giguere, not sure how much he can help, but at least it will free up Derel Walker to be more of a deep threat.

Zach Collaros placed on the six-game injured list...
The Saskatchewan Roughriders will be without quarterback Zach Collaros for the foreseeable future.
The team placed Collaros on the six-game injured list Tuesday, five days after he left Saskatchewan’s Week 2 game against the Ottawa Redblacks with a head injury.
The 29-year-old Collaros was 4-of-10 passing for 106 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions before he was hurt in the Roughriders’ 40-17 loss last Thursday. He underwent concussion protocol after leaving the game.
“You don’t ever mess around when it’s a concussion-type situation,” head coach Chris Jones said. “The league has the protocol that they go through and that’s what we’ll adhere to.”

This "Mic'd up audio" in the Ham-Wpg game is AWESOME. You can hear the players talking/chirping, coaches talking to players, refs, etc. I could listen to this every game.
Hard to bleep out some stuff though and its so funny..."thats a fkd up call, just a fkd up call man"...
