Has anyone played Civ 6 on Switch yet? I might get a switch just for that game if it plays well. Playing Civ on the go would be sweet.

Was reading some reviews and it sounds like framerate can suffer as you get more on the field late in a game, and there's no online multiplayer (not that I've ever tried that in a Civ game myself!). Take those as you will.

Had some fun with Horizon Chase Turbo last night, should get some miles outa this one. The races are short (under 2 min) so you kinda get into the "ok, one more race" mentality. Looks like lots of content, about 30 cars, plus upgrades and stuff. Good simple arcade racer.
I do love that I can buy a game from my work computer, and it is installed and ready when I get home!

I think the Switch is going to be hot this Christmas season, so my personal guess is there will be no major sales prior to Christmas.

That or search the city to see if anybody has the Black Friday Switch + Mario Kart Bundle for $380 still - that's unlikely though

Picked it up at Walmart at 7am this morning, and there were about 6 other people at the electronics till, picking it up too!

So I played a half dozen matches online and the bet code actually seems okay in this one. A couple little hiccups, but it is launch day and they’ve already done some maintenance on it.
I am going to be playing this one a LOT if the online works reliably.

I'm very curious how you can use a portable gaming console at work - unless it's limited over lunch and coffee breaks. Mobile phones - sure it's easier to conceal.
