Ya, a Ryder Cup is definitely on my bucket list. Just seems like so much fun

Figjam and Sergio with a amazing halved match. 19 birdies combined.

Yawn.......
just another top 10 for Brooke again this week.
That would make it 4 of her last 5 tournaments with a top 10. 15 top 10s for the season including 2 wins. And that is in 28 tournaments.
Think about that. Every other tournament she is in the top 10.
The most interesting question is whether Henderson beats Penny Oleksiak for athlete of the year.

Great question, both are worthy choices. I'll bet Oleksiak wins it but my opinion is Henderson is a better choice as she has been able to maintain her high level of play over a sustained amount of time. Relatively speaking.

DeLaet 1 back and T-3 going into Sunday. Nick Taylor is T-11 3 shots back. I think this is the tourney that Taylor won 2 years ago.
If they put in a good day they can both start the season with a bang, however with the leaderboard that bunched up a mediocre day will see you tumble fast.

I'm pulling hard for Mackenzie Hughes this year. I think he's the best shot to be a major champion for Canada in the foreseeable future.

DeLaet was in first place with a 4 foot birdie putt on 10 to go up by two. He misses it. He then goes and doubles the next hole by putting his second in the water. Follows that up with a bogey.
He's now 8th with 2 holes left to play.
Hope he bounces back, but he had this one to win. Too fragile mentally right now. I'm really pulling for him, but I suspect this one will sting for a bit.l

And Delaet bogeys 18 to bring a couple more players to a T-8

My money would be on Hadwin to be the next Canadian winner. He's improved nicely each of his last 3 seasons, and is off to a solid start.
He's in a good spot today too, 3 shots off the lead on a crowded leaderboard going into the final round.

3 shots is very doable at this place. Smylie Kaufman came from 7 back to win Vegas last year.
Hadwin is going to need to shoot 62 or 63 to have a chance.

Good on you, Rod Pampling. That's gotta be the feel good story of the year.

You don't see a Canadian at the top of the leaderboard that often. This deserves a bump for Mackenzie Hughes leading with a 61 today.
Gotta feel bad for Brad Fritsch turning a nice -3 to even with a triple on the last hole. Especially since he hasn't drawn into many events with his bottomish of the order web.com status.

Good call on this.
MacKenzie with a 2 shot lead going into the third round.
Today's round is back on the course he shot 61 on Thursday. Hope he stays hot and puts another one in the bank. Scores will be low today. Apparently he's paired with a guy he knows and has played a number of rounds with so that might help as well.

Hughes out to a 4 shot lead early in round 3. Even though its an extremely weak field, this is still very impressive for a newcomer.....hope he can go the distance.

It's a mediocre field for sure but it's a full point event that comes with a 2 year exemption and invites to the majors. That's huge for a guy on web.com top 50 status who can't even get into a lot of regular events.

in trouble on 11. Takes 4 to get to the green, about 60 feet left for bogey.
