Honestly feels like he's talking more about Cutter Gauthier than Ridly Greig.

Love the point about over coaching and about how they just need to get out of the way and let these guys play sometime...I feel like I agree 100% with that

The thing that I find funniest is that not only do the off-ice-officials not make a lot, its basically passionate volunteer work, but holy crap...the equipment they have!

I've thrown out better electronics than they get to use.

"The officials are having trouble with the clock!"

Well yeah, because you've got a 70-year-old dude trying to program a clock from the 80s. Its like watching your Grandpa trying to program his VCR.

I'm quasi-related to one of the Jets off ice officials, as well. He had wanted to be an on ice official when he was younger but never made the cut, unfortunately.

This is like saying the league hates the Oilers because Kassian got suspended for kicking a guy.

Leafs 4-0 without Reilly. They should have reverse appealed.

The Leafs might have been hoping they'd add a couple games.

"Mr. Treliving testified that he previously saw footage of the Perron incident, though he had not seen the DPS suspension video."

Too busy working the phones with Frank Seravalli and Pierre LeBrun making sure they will report that he is in on every deal and working really hard to watch a three-minute video, I'm sure.

Pretty neat to read the entire ruling. I enjoy the fact they deemed Griegs actions “utterly irrelevant” to Riley’s play. That’s pretty much the exact ruling I wanted to hear.

A little swipe at Treliving. League is getting tired of those appealing suspensions.
