I'm not sure why this is being seen as such a win for the Democrats and why Trump supporters are losing their minds over this.
I think because it pushes a lot of things out to later date which will coincide with other major portions of the GOP/POTUS agenda coming to the floor. The GOP needs to start delivering something on as they head towards mid-term elections. Thus far they have done nothing.
The dems believe that at that time they will be able to use things such as funds for a border wall, the debt ceiling etc as leverage to get what they want (healthcare market funding etc). It allows the Dems a better chance of forcing some actual bipartisan legislation where everybody wins a little and loses a little.
As pointed out in the article it also make it difficult for the GOP to focus on major initiatives that they have been promising if thye have to keep negotiating issues on a quarterly basis...Obamacare repeals, tax code overhaul etc. It limits the GOP from having any big wins on big ticket items which is potentially quite damaging to the GOP as it continues to show they can't get anything meaningful done.
I don't know, maybe recognize that those states are less safe, or even recognize the your path to the White House depends on those states, and put a plan together to make sure you win them. Isn't this basic political strategy? Are you telling by me they pulled out all the stops to win those states and too bad they just couldn't pull it off? Can you acknowledge that she seemed to put less effort into those states than others?
I think the fainting incident was a factor as well.
What if she spent another 3 hours each day at these so-called safe states and fainted again. The risk would have been much greater than the reward.

basic political strategy did not work, when going against a mentally unstable clown + a huge amount of stupid voters. that is what I'm saying. Her basic political strategy had no chance.

yeah, because grabbing pussies resonates with the voters, much more positively.
Do you think she would just have to show up to those states to get the votes needed, or she would have had to say something?
What exactly do you think she could have said to turn Trump voters into Hillary voters?
A lot of those people voted for Obama. Twice. Were they idiots who were impervious to reason then?

We have entered the 'Big Brother' age of politics, not the Orwell Big Brother, the TV show Big Brother, we have become a gormless group of voters that have the attention of the dog from up and we are voting for any novelty act that entertains us

The Orwell version of big brother was ushered in during the Dubya administration.
