Kassian had 2 elbow shots to the head last night that were 10x worse than what Tkachuk did. Calvert also broke his stick cross checking a Pittsburgh player in the neck area before punching him in the head. Curious to see if the NHL has the stones to suspend either guy.... or if player safety only matters when games don't matter as much...

I still don't understand how Kassian leaving his feet, in an upward motion, to drill his shoulder into Dillon's head last night wasn't 5 and a game.

The Department of Player Safety ( think about that title for just a second) should absolutely be concerned with predatory hits to the head. Kassian was charging and targeting the head). It's dangerous and someone could get seriously hurt. It isn't SAFE.

It was also disgusting and embarrassing the way Sportsnet were gushing over those hits. Disgusting.

Sharks feed was calling it was it was; headhunting by the Oilers all night. Quite a few of those last night by the Oil, in an effort to display ''toughness''. Hertl took a nasty headshot in the scrum in the crease in the 3rd too.
