I had read that Season 1 was available on DVD, so I went to check it out. There are only 7 episodes. And one is the pilot. So I think "Season 2" should be called "Season 1.5".

I am loving the season so far. Seem to jump around a bit with the female detectives new partners, but other than that it has been great.

Love the uncensored as well.

Anyone still watching this? Episode four of season three was on last night. This is a very good series.

Hahaha. Yeah, SuperChannel still exists... It's the only station that carries some of the good US programming up here.

Yeah I love this show. Just watching the newest episode of season three now. It's probably one of my favorite shows on tv currently, next to HIMYM.

Honestly, I thought that was the weakest one of the season until the last few minutes.

I thought the whole episode was great, but the ending was a real ride.

So, anybody on here still watch Southland? Season 5 ended and they are unsure if there will be a season 6. Best show on tv IMO.

(Sorry to bump an old thread, hope I didn't miss a newer one)

Outstanding show, better not be cancelled. The acting, writing, cinematography, editing etc. is unbelievable. May very well be the best show on TV, certainly the best cop crime drama show I've seen.

The subject matter is very heavy at times but it has such an authentic feel to it that I don't mind at all.

Before entering the thread the title made me ask:
1) Is this thread a rant about Southland drive?
2) Is this thread about Southland transportation/being a school bus driver.

I agree with everything you said. I can't believe it's not more popular than it is.

I lost track of this show, probably around the last time I posted. I am going to have to try and figure out where I left off and catch up. I agree, it is a very good police drama.
