Default Ray Donovan

from IMDB

Ray Donovan, a professional "fixer" for the rich and famous in LA, can make anyone's problems disappear except those created by his own family.

I just watched the pilot and it was phenomenal. It has an amazing cast with Liev Schreiber, Jon Voight, Eddie Marsan, Paula Malcomson (from Deadwood) and even Steven Bauer a.k.a Manny from Scarface. The writing and directing are superb, i defiantly recommend watching it even if you missed it last night.

'The Bag or the Bat' is on again tonight...I'm gonna watch it again

And I'd like to hear who would choose which one, bag or bat, after you watch the show...

Enjoyed the premiere. Not 100 percent sold it's gonna be the new "must watch" show of 2013, but it's definitely got potential.

For some reason I thought it would be more of a mob show so i tuned in.
I'll give it a few episodes and see if it is worth continuing to tune into.
Easy to remember being right after Dexter, good time slot this season.

I've watched the first two episodes. Some seriously talented people involved with this, so I'm giving it my obligatory 4 episode sample. Not totally sold thru 2 but there is potential for sure.

Already renewed for a second season by Showtime. Reason enough to check it out if you haven't already. My stance is still unchanged after 3 episodes, but I wasn't sold on Dex or Shameless right away either. I'm sticking with it.

I'm sticking with it as well. It has a lot of potential, and I really like Jon Voight's character. When he said "I could use some oral rape right now" I almost died laughing.

They need to not spoil the rest of the season in the "coming up next time..." bit at the end. A couple Showtime dramas are guilty of this.

The introduction of that FBI guy adds another element to this already well written and acted series.
That dude played a weird character in the movie Vacancy as well, he has one of those convincing faces and personality that says i am bats##t crazy.
They haven't really said what Avi's background is, I have a feeling he might be ex Mossad.
I was shocked to learn the actor Steven Bauer is the same guy that played Manny the partner in crime to Tony Montana, Pacino in Scarface.

I'm liking this show, good 2 hours of TV, Dexter than Ray Donavon.

I like it. Something about the tone of it, a bit of humour thrown in here and there... it's a great fit for Showtime if nothing else. I'm actually starting to like a few characters.

It's got a lot of potential and I find myself anticipating watching it every Sunday. I guess my only issue at this point is it is difficult to see where the story is heading. Through 4 episodes I'm uncertain about the plot (although the storyline with the FBI agent might change that). Either way, I will watch this first season and see where things go. Jon Voight is awesome.

A real sophie's choice .

This show is incredibly boring. I'm still not sure what the hell the plot is about and the whole "anti-hero" is so over done.

It's benefitting from a very very weak sunday night right now.

I'll stick with it for now but I often find myself doing other things while watching it.

I gave it 4 episodes, but this show is boring, the stereotypes are uninteresting and the plot advances at a staggeringly slow pace.

Also, I get it, Jon Voigt is a jerk. Can we move on to a plot now?
