Default Tonight! Live from the Scotiabank Saddledome. The Flames take on The Golden Knights.

Puck Drop is at 7PM. (7 p.m. MT (TV: Sportsnet West, Radio: Sportsnet 960 The FAN).

Hockey's back!

After another 4 day break the Flames are coming off 4 disappointing OT/SO Losses, hopefully the All-Star break allowed them to get some time in to focus on their game. Looking forward to seeing how they respond to the Golden Knights. Tough team to play against.

Michael Frolik will return to the Flames lineup for Tuesday's game against the Vegas Golden Knights

"He'll be a game player tomorrow," head coach Glen Gulutzan told reporters following his team's practice on Monday afternoon. "We've passed most of the checkmarks that the docs needed us to go through as far as the healing of the jaw and stuff so you can expect Fro in tomorrow."

Frolik has missed the last 12 games with a broken jaw after being struck by a shot from Sharks defenceman Brent Burns in a 3-2 shootout loss to San Jose back on Dec. 28.

"I'm definitely excited, it's never fun for a player to be injured," said Frolik. "It's obviously never easy to [spend] a month away from the game but I think I had a few good practices. [I'll] just try to keep it simple at the start, I think, keep it short shifts; keep it short and keep it simple and go out there and try to bring a little bit more energy and hopefully it's going to be good."

“I thought, really, that they may tail off, and just watching them now, preparing for them, I don’t see that happening,” said Flames head coach Glen Gulutzan. “It’s going to be a tough battle. Maybe two months ago I thought ‘if we can get going and they slide a little bit …’ but 10 points against a team that’s playing this well?

“That’s a good hockey team over there and that’s tough ground to make up, but we do play them four times and those opportunities present themselves, but it’s not something we’re fixated on.”

Full 60 mins tonight boys. Huge 4 points tonight Go Flames Go!

Play a full 60, all I ask as a fan.

I know a team isn't going 82-0, but I absolutely expect full effort for 82 games. That has been severely lacking for the Flames for probably 70% of their games.

It's my birthday today. So here's to an 8-3 Flames win!

What? It could happen...

Well, it happened last year vs the most unlikeliest team in the league for that kinda blowout score to happen to, so there's that.

Here's hoping for a lot of February birthday voodoo. I'm activating mine vs the Blackhawks on Saturday.

5-4 Vegas in OT... the Flames finish the season on an OTL losing streak and still make the playoffs.

Big game coming off the break. LV, Sharks and Oilers (they don't matter of course) are way ahead of the rest of the division in regards to records within the division. Flames need to start winning these games if they want to stay in the divisional race. Also a very good measuring stick to see where they stand vs the division leaders.

Be good to win vs VGK. If we win 4 straight, we'll be in their heads for the playoffs.

Ten points back of Vegas but still play them four times. Imagine a sweep!

How did Jaromir Jagr spend his final evening with #Flames, in between being waived and then loaned to HC Kladno? At the Saddledome, of course. In the weight-room.

I hope Jags makes a comeback for the playoffs.

So weird how this is our 50th game of the season, and this is the first time we're taking on a particular team in our own division. Don't you play your division opponents 5-6 times a year? Gonna see a lot of Vegas down the stretch here..
