On the flip side I don’t mind the trade partners, though the trades are very one sided.

I'm an impatient person, and I don't know why so many fans want to blow it up after one bad playoffs. Give the core a chance next year

And I don't see Barkov leaving Florida any time soon either.

Gotta be realistic and that usually means targetting free agents. If you can find takers for guys like Stone, Frolik and Brodie, target Hayes and Eberle. There's legit rumours of Kadri not returning to Toronto so maybe something there too. But if we're just throwing random trades out there why don't we move Bennett for Ovechkin with the caps retaining salary while we're at it

Umm, I am getting a little tired with people continuing to say this. How many fricken chances should we give this core?

How many chances did Vegas get before getting to the finals last season. The core has played 20+ games in the playoffs now and has sucked horribly. at what point do we stop giving chances???

Or do we forget other series because Monahan and Gaudreau were young? Umm, there have been plenty of young players over the years who have done in the playoffs. These aren't 18 year old rookies anymore.
