2004...Me living in Toluca Lake (Burbank basically) wondering where the hell I'm going to watch the Flames games.

Find a little dive bar in Burbank called Champs. They have CBC! (Holy crap, it's still there)

Go home. Find Calgarypuck.

Spend almost every second night at Champs for the next two months, meet a few people from Montreal and Toronto who catch the heat and become Flames fans after the Habs get knocked out. Still friends to this day.

Just find a dive sports bar and you'll run into Flames fans, if not, Canadians there to watch the games.

Cool - I was with the group of 14 in the Flames attack zone - we were on a stag, had the bachelor on the zamboni in a LA Kings dress at 1st intermission...was a good time.
