Jake Maier may be just a slightly better quarterback than Kevin Feterik was. Wake up Dave. Schiltz should have started the second d half.

Up 26-12 in the 3rd qtr and they lose the game. Jake isn't a starting QB but this game isn't all on him.

I'm ok with this. Stamps are 2-2, with losses to the two best teams in the league. And they were in both of those losses.

My buddy Calf is right though, the Stamps are playing a very boring brand of football. I'm not sure where we're going from here, but this team is better than last year. There's some sort of progress going on

2-2 and going into Winnipeg. Likely falling to 2-3. I have said for a long time. DD calls plays not to lose, he doesn't play to win. He likes it safe, high percentage plays, unfortunately, he doesn't have a QB who can execute.

He might have a QB that can execute. We'll just never know because he insists on playing Maier, who runs into problems if he has to throw the ball further than 10 yards downfield. But it's not all on Jake. The defence on this team has to be the worst bunch of tacklers I have ever seen. Rarely can the first tackler bring down the ball carrier. It always takes 5 or 6 players to do the job.

I like Dave, I think he's a great coach but unless they do something this year that would be totally unexpected, it's time for a new voice in that room.

I think they need a better QB....period.

Saw flashes of good play by Maier at times, but the guy misses 5 yard passes by 5 feet...repeatedly.

Not convinced the Stamps have the dynamic type wide out needed either. Its the biggest reason the team doesn't throw more than 15 yards downfield along with a shaky (at times) Oline.

Pretty unlikely the club could even find a better HC, as the guy understands the Canadian game better than almost everyone else on the planet. He is grooming Kilam to take over IMO, but that is still a couple years down the road.

They are close to being a real good club I believe, but as usual it comes down to the guys on the field executing their duties. Lots of work to do there.
