Well, it's been a good season. Unbelievable. Guys gotta grow some confidence out of the game to come back next year.

Shouldn't have let Romano face a guy who had already hit him earlier.

Wouldn’t be a Toronto team without a classic choke job. Realistically this team was never beating the Yanks or Houston in a series.

Most depressing end to a season ever.

Romano kinda choked this game didn’t he. Actually good choke job all the way around. They need a better bullpen next year as it’s clear Romano isn’t to the level of other top closers and we don’t have a bunch of 100 mph throwers behind him.
The inability of the Jays to get a competent in house bullpen while teams like the Guardians, Mariners and Rays throw out an endless stream of guys throwing 96+ is a problem that needs fixing.

He shouldn't have had to come in with two runners on and shouldn't have to pitch two innings. Romano is fine

Bass owns at least as much of this as Romano does.

That Springer injury didn’t help either. Definitely impacts the morale

Schneider really pulled a Montoyo in this one. Mayza shouldn't have came in when he did and Bass shouldn't have pitched the 8th.

This. Bass and Mayza were the pitchers who didn't get the job done today.
