Of all the National teams that I follow I always want the Australians to do well...but they just dont.
Watching New Zealand is like admiring art. Its always classic and excellent, but you still want others to succeed as well.
So its great to watch the All Blacks but sometimes watching 'less perfect' teams makes for more entertaining matches.

I'm stretching for positives but that Bledisloe game was closer than the score. Australian was right in it until the 56th minute penalty after which the ABs hammered them into submission.
Just 8 years ago the Wallabies beat the ABs to win the Rugby Championship and later finished 2nd in the World Cup. Now they've earned the wooden spoon and will be lucky to get to the Cup QFs.
Since I moved to Australia and started cheering for the Wallabies I've gone through all the stages of grief. First thought they could win a Bledisloe with a bit of luck, then thought it would take a miracle but still possible, then finally have resigned myself that will the current state of Australian Rugby they will never ever win the Bledisloe again.

Bledisloe game 2 just started. Afternoon game in NZ should give some of you an opportunity to watch the ABs at a reasonable time.

What a weekend for the boy.
He played great, picking up man of the match against Ontario.
Had to sit a game because of a knock, but played in the Bronze medal game, which they won.
SO nice to see the CRU crawling with rugby.

It was ugly and the ABs were thoroughly smashed right across the park. Scott Barrett may have a ban coming for his two yellow cards. The scoreline could have easily been worse. I'm not that upset that they lost as it could serve as a wake up call prior to the World Cup, but the way they lost was gross and South Africa look ready and dominant.

28 points for the ABs greatest ever loss. Compared to 45 for the Wallabies, 47 for the Boks, and 79 for England.
Remaining Cup warm up games are England/Fiji, Scotland/Georgia, Italy/Japan, Ireland/Samoa, and Australia/France.

More history as Fiji beat England for the first time ever!
I'm ready to make my QF picks. Am all aboard the Fiji bandwagon and no way am I taking a chance on the Irish.
England vs Fiji
South Africa vs New Zealand
Australia vs Argentina
France vs Scotland

Oh yes...you can just hook that directly to my veins. Lets have that.
I love 6 Nations because they genuinely HATE each other.

When I played with Jason Leonard he had some great stories about the build up to the games, the games themselves and the sessions post games.
I'd struggle to identify a Nation on Nation Tournament that has the same hatred and history as the 6(5)N.

Sorry for the 'stream-of-consciousness' posting, but E2 was awesome.
England vs. Italy...that was great. I hadn't heard of the Genge/Negri sort of rivalry/friendship. They way they showcased that was excellent.
Thats it. Thats Rugby. In a nutshell.
"I will try and kill you. But I will move Hell and Earth to save your life. And we're lifelong friends now. But if I see you again on the other side of the line from me? I will try and destroy you."

One of the things that always annoys me:
"I cant believe he missed that kick!"
Okay. In football you always get to kick from the center of the field. Thats easy.
In Rugby? Being right-footed and having to kick from the far-right touchline? People dont understand how narrow that window is. That is a tough kick.
