I'd like to think that a loss like tonight will give them a nice kick in the ass, and a wake up call for game 4.
I mean, EDM also completely blew the Kings out of the building twice with 8 and 6 goals wins, and the Kings came back and won the next 2 games for a 3-2 series lead. I'd like to believe the Flames are capable of this. Guess we'll see... Lost the battle, but not the war.

Ok, so here's the thing. We win game 1 on May 18th... I was 39.
Then my birthday was the 19th.
Lose game 2 on the 20th, lose game 3 on The 22nd.
We haven't won a game since I turned 40.
I... I... I think me being 40 might be the problem.
Can, can we make me 21 again? Our playoff performance when I was 21 was unreal

Firewagon defence won't win many games.

Game 4 becomes biggest Flames game since 2004. We shall see what they are made of.

Embarassing. Hopefully they figure something out.
Also, wouldn't mind putting in Vladar next game to add a spark.

On the bright side the Flames only have to be better at everything for game 4.

Backlund was our best player, followed closely by Dube. Not much else to be happy about tonight. I thought they hung Markstrom out to dry.
Started out tentative to not take penalties, got them anyway. Not sure what else you can do when that happens. Momentum was on the Oilers side all night, but they did earn this win fair and square. No bitching about the refs tonight, Lucic penalty aside.
I want more speed in the lineup next game. Stone and Ritchie out. Mackey and Carpenter in.

Let Vladar start the next game. He doesn’t seem to be owned mentally by Edmonton at this point.

Piss poor effort. Regroup for Game 4. Series is 2-1, far from over.
