Bleh, UBC drives the field and scores a late TD and the convert is good to take a 42-41 lead.

Unbelievable. I literally just logged in and tried to find an updated score. Found this link: http://www.sidearmstats.com/calgary/football/
Must have been an amazing game. I don't see any wind outside so he must have really crushed it.

Unreal.
This team has ALWAYS played these kind of games...the most under-appreciated team this city has.
Would be nice to see the whole thing through for sure, but they are forever providing really good entertainment at a high level...year after year and coach after coach.
crazy.

A day earlier, Atlantic University Sport – the governing body for university athletics in Atlantic Canada – cancelled the national quarter-final between Acadia and Saint Mary’s due to a player eligibility issue and awarded the regional title to the Axemen.
“The AUS made the decision it believes to be the best to protect the integrity and fairness of its football season,” U Sports president and CEO Graham Brown said Friday in a statement. “U Sports respects this decision and understands it. We also wish to acknowledge all of the players, coaches and programs that competed fairly all season long.

@AllanAprilCTV:
BREAKING: NS Supreme Court decides in favour of Saint Mary's University. Court directs that #LoneyBowl be played between @SMUHuskies and @AcadiaAthletics no later than Tuesday.
Should Acadia be unwilling or unable to host the game by Tuesday, Nov. 14, Saint Mary's will have an opportunity to do so.
Important to note here that a ruling still has not been made about whether or not Saint Mary's played an ineligible player. That matter has been granted an interim injunction from Ontario Superior Court, and proceedings will resume on Wednesday, Nov 15.

Not that Western needs it, but they will be getting an opponent off a short week.

SMU had in Writting from the AUS that Jack was eligible. X loses and files a complaint which caught the AUS off guard, and their reaction was to remove SMU from the game rather than just admit thhat their may have been errors but the errors were on their part for letting him play to begin with. What an absolute #### show.

Acadia defeats St. Mary's in double overtime 45-38 and will play Western this weekend on three days rest. Yikes.
