Anyone try that "expresso" place next to Orange Theory?
I ate lunch there last week. It was "OK" but not amazing. I had a chicken sandwich and it came with a salad for something like $13-15. The sandwich didn't have a lot of chicken on there though. So it was good, but not great. A person I was with had some kind of club sandwich and that looked pretty good.

$13-15 for a sandwich. They must think they’re in an airport or something.
Can anyone comment on that spin studio on Kensington Rd just off 10th (YYC bike I think it's called?)? I'm a member at Urban athlete, but their spin classes are either full or at bad times.

Was just full of stationary bikes when I checked it out.
I went there for dinner yesterday for the second time.
First visit was a few weeks ago. They have improved quite a bit. Service and food were really fast.
They also made some changes to their menu since the opening. It's not an amazing place but I enjoyed my meal and will go back.

EDIT: the place is called Cho - they have some serious growing pains - tried to eat there last night, and they could not handle two tables and two take-out orders. Hostess kept disappearing to the kitchen for long periods. No one greeted me for 15 minutes, so I left. All the other guests seemed really annoyed too.
I’m hoping they demolish it and then build something really nice in that location. What’s the point of dumping more money into fixing that ugly falling apart building?

We were wondering about this joint. Our usual go-to is Globefish, but Cho's pricing didnt seem much better. Hopefully there service picks up a bit as it should do ok there.
Stoked for the Marcus ice cream shop. Should be open soon.
Even that new pharmacy will be nice. Now all West Hillhurst needs is a bakery...
Just noticed 10th Street Landing was permanently shuttered at the end of May. Seems like it is being gutted for something new?
Liked it better as FATS, than as a gastropub.
The adjacent liquor store is taking over the entire space, was just talking to a couple of the employees there on Monday. Both businesses are owned by the same person.

... are they going to have a big selection or just have a lot of empty space? That'd be a pretty big liquor store if they fill it. I like that store... great selection of beers and wine for the space they have
